Hi, my name is Friedemann Guenther. I live in Mt Lehman, near Abbotsford. Just before Christmas 2 years ago I had a Vitodens 100-W installed to replace an aging (44 years) gas burning boiler replaced. Now I feel I got ripped off, as it cannot maintain a normal temperature in my home, when the outside temperature goes below zero. If you’d want more info on this issue, please let me know. On another issue - last night, I was sitting near the fireplace, after a couple of hours I went to the kitchen - the house was down to 52 F. I went to check on the boiler, and it had stopped and had an error code which I have not memorized. I couldn’t get it going, so I went to the fuse box - the breaker seemed OK. Anyway I switched it off and on again, and surprise, it was working again. What was it ? will it do it willy nilly ? I’m not comfortable with the situation, as I suspect it could happen again for no reason. Also, to keep the house at a reasonable temperature, I use a couple of electric heaters when sub zero temps.
