Recommendations for house insurance company/broker please. Also, The last broker one I checked said they would need $500k in building value to replace our home that isn't even worth that much with land. Due to high costs when building quickly. Has anyone else heard that?

Okay, weird topic. We're having trouble insuring our property and the buildings on it. They wont even insure the house. They said they won't touch it because of the horses and chickens on the property. Where does everyone with horses etc. Get their property/structure insurance from in the Maple Ridge area?
