On May 1, 2010, its predecessor firms of Linley Duignan and Welwood Wiens Warkentin merged their practices to form Linley Welwood. Linley Duignan was formed on September 1, 1971, while Welwood Wiens Warkentin was founded by Lorne Welwood and Ed Fast in 1990 originally as Fast Welwood. Both firms worked hard to earn a reputation of excellence. The new firm of Linley Welwood builds on this combined history of excellence and dedication to the communities it serves.

Linley Welwood focuses its practice on business and real estate law, including business acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, real estate transactions, property development and commercial disputes.
