Local friends - Corey and I are looking for somewhere quasi fancy for dinner on Saturday, preferably in North Burnaby or Port Moody. Suggestions?
Jill R.: The Popoffs have three restaurants that are all nice. The Pearl is an oyster bar on the beach in White Rock (autocorrect really wanted that to be Whyte Rick) http://www.pearloysterbar.ca/ and then Onyx has two locations http://www.onyxsteakhouse.ca/ (and one is in Port Moody). (Onyx is where I had the tempura bacon fries when I went out for dinner with Tanya and raved about them when I got back to you and Myrna.) Enjoy the birthday dinner!
