Is there someplace nice to eat in this town with great food? I haven't been able to find one. I don't eat burgers, deep fried foods, foods covered with cheese. I also don't enjoy pub food, as it's always as above, and I don't enjoy the atmosphere much. I tend to avoid franchise restaurants, because the food is anyways very commercial and all tastes the same.
I've tried Bella Vita but didn't enjoy the Oxo-disguised-au-jus on the prime rib. I had a very bad, not-to-be-repeated, meal at Frogstone.
So, is there somewhere I haven't found where you can eat a well-prepared meal you wouldn't cook at home and enjoy a good glass of wine?
Maureen J.: Chameleon on 224 th! http://chameleoncafe.ca Sometimes LaTratorria http://latrattoriaitaliano.com Have't been able to get into Il Corsaro as of yet but heard it's lovely BUT need to plan well ahead I've tried the week ahead to get in but couldn't so we end up at either of the other two. La Trattoria we like to have their antipasto Platter and a glass of wine! with a Salad. (Caprese). There's also the Firehall Bistro in Pitt Meadows, The Loft at the Pitt Meadows Golf Course. Thats pretty much it if you prefer not pub food. Big Feast is Amazing BUT the atmosphere is more casual. Good luck!
Vicki C.: Chameleon on 24 th and the fireside in Pitt meadows

Hello! I'm looking for a restaurant to dinner with my hubby. Nice but not expensive and in Maple Ridge. We don't go out often because of the kids but we'll have finally sometime for us :) Any recommendations? Thank you and happy long weekend!
Lara C.: I've not heard of Chameleon, but since hubby and I so rarely get out without kidlet, I too like to hear of great places to go. It looks good, I'll have to add that to the must-try list: http://chameleoncafe.ca/index.html
Steve N.: We really like Chameleon on 224 th, across from Just Ducky
Jessica B.: Big Feast is always good. I think Il Corsaro is our best Italian restaurant, everything there is super fresh and all the pasta is handmade. Chameleon Cafe is good and the ambiance is nice for an adult-only dinner. As mentioned, Lava is also great or if you want to pop just across the Golden Ears Bridge you could go to The Fat Cow & Oyster Bar (opened by the chef from Lava I think) and it is excellent!
Melissa C.: I love the Billy Miner, I hear but haven't been. To the fireball place, I also love Indian and the GM is great, chameleon is really really god, but a little pricier. I also love the retro American Chinese at Chinese palace.
